A NOTE FROM DORI'S CO-FOUNDERS
We did not want more clothes. We wanted better decisions.
DORI began when our wardrobes stopped keeping up with our lives. The days moved through meetings, travel and evenings, but most clothes were still designed for one moment at a time.
We wanted structure without stiffness, expression without excess and pieces that could be worn again without feeling repeated.
That led us to contemporary silhouettes shaped through Indian textiles, practical details and, in selected styles, two fully finished sides.
DORI does not ask you to become someone else. It is designed to remove friction from the person you already are.

BRAND PRINCIPLES
What defines DORI.
Design with intent
Every line, seam and silhouette must earn its place.
Versatility with clarity
Pieces are designed to work across settings without losing their identity.
Presence without noise
Impact comes from proportion, textile and finish rather than unnecessary excess.
Utility as design
Fit, pockets, movement and care are part of the design, not afterthoughts.
THE FABRICS
Chosen by style,
not by slogan.
DORI uses different materials according to the performance and character each design needs.
Product pages are the source of truth for fibre composition, construction and care.
Indian textiles
Cotton, linen, printed textiles and embroidery appear where they strengthen the design.
Texture & finish
Surface, drape, weight and detail are considered alongside the silhouette.
Product-specific care
Every style carries its own material and care guidance; the sewn-in label takes precedence
THE ATELIER
Where each piece takes shape.
Pattern makers, tailors and finishing teams work together to balance structure, movement and textile character.
Shape
The silhouette is developed around fit, movement and intended use.
Construct
Textiles are cut and assembled with attention to seams, pockets and balance.
Check
The finished garment is reviewed for fit, function and finish before dispatch.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY
Fewer pieces. More useful wear.
We design in considered runs, use made-to-order production where stated and build versatility into selected pieces. Our responsibility page explains what we can substantiate today and what we are still working to document.
